Empowering parents
Parents face many challenges. Violence in our communities adds to the complexity and gravity of these challenges. As parents, women with abusive partners face the increased demands and risks associated with having children. And the parents of children that have witness abuse are also called on to deal with problems and issues that they often don’t understand. Our violent histories don’t just go away. This is why we, at the Elizabeth Fry Society, make it our job to support and empower parents.

What they said
"After graduation I will have the experience of being a working mother with a better job than being a single mother that's a high school drop out."
